Before sending a user invite, you must sign up for a Team plan and purchase user seats.
1. Navigate to the Users page -> click Add user seats.
2. Select your Team plan and number of seats -> click Continue to billing. You will then be redirected to the Stripe checkout page to complete the payment.
Note: The Team plan requires a minimum purchase of 2 seats on top of the workspace account owner, which is always free. Even if you invite only one user, you will still have to pay for at least two seats.
3. Once the payment is completed, you can Invite users. Type email addresses, select user roles, and click Send invites.
Note: If you invite more users than the number of seats initially purchased in the Team plan, your subscription will be updated appropriately on a pro-rated basis. New seats will be included automatically in your next upcoming invoice.
Once your team member accepts the user invite, you will see them under the Active users tab.
Textmagic Team plan requires a minimum purchase of 2 user seats in addition to the account owner’s seat, which is always free. Choose from:
- Monthly Team plan ($19 per user / month)
- Anual Team plan ($15 per user / month, billed yearly)
For the Textmagic Team plan, you will make payments directly via Stripe – a safe and secure payment processing gateway to manage your subscriptions and invoices.
Important to note:
- If you invite more users than the number of seats initially purchased in the Team plan, your subscription will be updated automatically on a pro-rated basis once an invitation is accepted. This change will be reflected in your next Textmagic invoice.
- Other Textmagic services, such as texting, virtual numbers, and subscriptions, are billed separately from your prepaid Textmagic account balance. Please review our Pricing and your Billing overview pages.
Note: Starting May 2024, sub-account creation will no longer be supported for new Textmagic account registrations.
- Collaboration: Users collaborate within a single workspace and Chat, while sub-accounts act like separate entities for different departments or projects.
- Sender settings: Users share virtual numbers for texting, while sub-accounts have their own unique sender configurations.
- Contacts management: Users have access to all contact lists, allowing comprehensive customer engagement and data management, while lists on sub-account lists are private.
No, Textmagic does not offer this feature at the moment. To have a new workspace, you need to register a new and separate Textmagic account.
